“Generation X was the first song I wrote and recorded on the album. A song about people, a song about not worrying too much what other people think about you, and just being yourself. I’ve been listening to “Children of the Revolution” by Mark Baldwin and T-Rex, and this was a song that made people of that time and of that generation really feel like they were together and were part of something. And I wanted so write a song like that too. I wanted to write a song that make people feel that they were together, even if they were a little different or people saw them as strange, or whatever. They’re a part of this generation where they didn’t care,  and tonight they’ll take one time to sit with someone that does not understand them, maybe make them agree, make them say yes. And that’s where generation X came from.”(x)
